Talented local musicians pay tribute to one of Monterey County’s celebrities, John Steinbeck this afternoon. The Steinbeck Center in Salinas hosts A “Musical Celebration of the Life and Times of John Steinbeck” featuring a variety of genres including Mexican ballads, blues, jazz and swing. 2pm-4pm, 1 North Main Street, Salinas. $15.
