California Wine Contest: Best Entries from Monterey County

The California Wine Contest run by Trazzler asked writers and photographers to choose from a list of California wineries and either write something about that winery or submit a photograph of their favorite wine spot. With fantastic Monterey County prizes up for grabs over 100 hopefuls entered to test their luck.

Monterey County is one of the largest wine-growing and producing regions in California so it no wonder that several entries came from renowned wineries and tasting rooms located here in Monterey County! Check out some of the best entries below.

Writing entry about Parsonage Vineyards submitted by Mandy MacCalla

“At Parsonage Village you will see The Parson and his family. The reasons I urge you to go? Petit Verdot, Syrah, Merlot. An ocean breeze may waft up there. You’ll almost taste the salty air. Some wines the names of family show: Rocco, Bixby, Dario. Tasting wine gives you the guilts? View Mary Ellen Parson’s quilts. You’ll find that life is not so hard At Parsonage Village Vineyard.”
