Dishes include a 16-ounce rib chop, John Dory, dayboat scallops, butternut squash, agnolotti, squab, brussels sprouts, yellowfin tuna carpaccio, and (of course) roasted organic turkey. Bernardus Lodge hosts a delectable, gourmet Thanksgiving Day buffet. Dine on traditional Thanksgiving favorites made with sustainably sourced, local and organic produce and naturally raised meats, as well as several special creations from Chef Cal Stamenov. Edgar’s at Quail offers both a three course prix-fixe menu and a la carte options this Thanksgiving. The Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa is always a great destination for a holiday meal. This Thanksgiving they’re offering two separate meals. The Monterey Bay Buffet has over 40 items, including seafood, steamship of beef, duck and chicken paté, cheese and fruit, salads, cold cured meat, smoked salmon, and the traditional turkey. 12-6pm, $50 for adults, $23 for children. The Duck Club Grill has a four-course Thanksgiving dinner with dishes including roasted squash soup, goat cheese and duck fritter with fig marmalade, roast turkey, lamb chops, grilled Angus, shrimp and scallop skewers, as well as vegetarian options. 1pm to 8pm, starts at $52/person; a complete turkey dinner for four is $200. Menu items include walnut-raisin bread with pumpkin butter and cranberry sauce, spinach quiche, peanut pumpkin soup, sweet potato and pear salad, sweet gem lettuce and potato gnocchi; main course options include thyme-roasted turkey breast, butternut squash ravioli, pan-seared sea bass or smoked pork rib chop; for dessert, choose from pumpkin cheesecake brulee, ginger spice cake and warm apple pie. Cannery Row’s buzziest new restaurant, Cannery Row Brewing Company, offers a three course prix-fixe Thanksgiving dinner. The first course features a choice of pumpkin soup, roasted squash ravioli, grilled Caesar salad. For the entree, choose between 7-hour slow-smoked Diestel turkey or 5-hour slow-smoked prime rib. The Sardine Factory offers a special four-course prix-fixe Thanksgiving menu.
