The weather couldn’t have been better for yesterday’s 2009 Big Sur Half Marathon on Monterey Bay. Here’s a few of our photos from the event; keep an eye on our Flickr account as we add more over the next few days!

It looks like it was very successful and a lot of people from different parts of the country participated. The weather looks like it cooperated as well because it looks like it was a very nice day. Would have been fun to be there.
I had such a great time at this event! My sister visited from Chicago and we ran together. She is coming off the Chicago Marathon and is an experienced half-marathon runner. She said the Big Sur Half was extremely well organized. I agree! We both liked the medals a lot, too.
I thought it was nice to see the winners running back in while I was on my way out to the turnaround. That was great motivation.
Congrats to all the finishers!
