Big Sur, Carmel (the movie), Google Ocean
The LA Times writes about driving the length of the California Coast in 10 days, and spotlights beautiful Big Sur, including Nepenthe!
The movie Carmel, starring Lauren Bacall, Alfred Molina, Hayden Panettiere (Claire from Heroes), Dina Eastwood (wife of Clint), and Josh Hutcherson (Jess from Bridge to Terabithia) is now filming in Carmel!
You may use Google Earth to check out places on land; now, because of help from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, you can see what things look like under the sea! Use it to dive down to the ocean floor without a dive suit (or a submarine).

omg! can’t wait carmel by the sea is my favorite place since i was a little girl its my run away.. my fairytale i absolutley cannot wait!
